GPIP has been parcelized to accommodate almost every need imaginable. Tracts from one acre to more than 1,000 acres have been planned for. The northwest portion of the plant was specifically carved out to accommodate residential/office neighborhoods. The industrial tracts are divided into three categories to help in keeping like-tenants together, with the heavier, dirtier industry moving further into the plant.
Although formally carved out in tracts from one to more than 100 acres, tracts can be combined to accommodate the needs of the specific industry.
