Health Care in Labette County is provided by Labette Health, a full service health care Hospital, located three miles from the facility. Labette Health provides “state of the art” diagnostic services with in house MRI / CT / Ultrasound / Sonogram / Nuclear Medicine, and a full staff of medical professionals in all disciplines. The County maintains a fleet of ambulances and has an air ambulance stationed at the hospital to expedite transport. Major medical treatment facilities are located in Pittsburg KS and Joplin MO as well as the University of Kansas Medical Facility.
