The Purpose of this Site:
The purpose of this web site is to provide industry a location to obtain information to help them make decisions about a potential relocation to Southeastern Kansas and to keep the citizens of the region informed about the progress of the transfer. The Industrial Park depicted below will have ample areas for recreation, an energy park for manufacture of Bio or Petro Chemicals, a light industrial manufacturing area, and a commercial or military explosives manufacturing area. Special areas have been set aside for Public Education and Training, an office park and Special Events Center such as Farm History. All of these areas will contain suitable land for continued agricultural leases. Housing is being considered in the area where the old military housing was located.
